Broad Street Brands plc (“BSB”) was incorporated to develop new spirit brands, commencing with a new premium malt whisky called “Muckle Flugga”, this being the name of the small outlier island to the North of the Shetland Island of Unst which has the Muckle Flugga lighthouse on it. The Muckle Flugga whisky brand was acquired from Catfirth Limited and BSB has been able to put together a team able to develop the concept and to seek new brands, thus creating an incubator of new products within the drinks industry. The Placing is to obtain funding required to further develop, market, sell and distribute the Muckle Flugga brand and to add other other brands in due course.
